Vehicle Detail

Listed for auction is an exceptionally clean and well maintained 1999 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet. This Porsche is a real nice color combination: midnight blue metallic, blue cabrio top, and a natural brown full leather interior. This car has been driven approximately 5K miles per year. Everything works as it should and the A/C really is ice cold. My dad is the owner of this car and has owned it since Oct of 06. All repairs & service, unless otherwise noted, have been done by Desert European Motorcars in Rancho Mirage CA. My dad is old school and does his own oil changes with OEM parts from Pelican Parts with Mobil 0W-40 Full Synthetic oil. The next oil service is due in October. The car comes with two keys and the original manuals. All service records as well as full size additional images of the vehicle can be found at: http://s987.photobucket.com/albums/ae354/PerfectPorsche/ The Motor: No issues here. A strong 3.4L 300Hp with Tiptronic Transmission Both valve cover gaskets replaced, Jan of 07 Water pump replaced, fall of 08 by Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills CA Air intake transfer box replaced, Oct of 06 The Undercarriage: Very clean Rust free He has never driven this car in the rain and it appears that the previous owners did not either. Exhaust system is stock and in perfect condition The Body: Straight panels with no dings No know accident history The Paint: Looks great from any distance. Minor scratches left rear bumper & drivers door… see pictures The Cabrio Top: The top works perfect. The windscreen is included and it too is perfect. Rear plastic window is perfect. Replaced by Euro-Trim Upholstery of San Diego, fall 08 Original top is in excellent condition All rubber and seals are in excellent condition Top hydraulic system serviced, Dec of 07 The Glass/Windows: Perfect, with the windshield replaced by Safelite Auto Glass in 09 New LH rear window regulator/motor, Aug of 08 The Interior: Full leather option in Natural Brown All dash gages including the clock work perfectly Leather dash is perfect Seat leather is in very good condition, soft and supple with only on small imperfection - a small cracked area on the drivers side bolster. Carpet and floor mats are in above average condition The full power seats & memory work perfectly Premium sound with remote Porsche Sony six CD changer All power accessories in perfect working order The Tires: Dunlap Direzza DZ101: Front-225/35R19, Rear 275/30R19 New May 09 with excellent tread Compact spare The Rims: "Zone 1" two piece 19 inch Chrome allow wheels in very good condition Center caps with colored Porsche crests The Lights: Standard halogen headlights Clear & clean lenses Euro style, clear, front turn indicator lenses All other lenses clear, clean and crack free The Emblem: Chip free Porsche hood crest -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- While this car is really exceptional, I did note some imperfections. The rear interior passenger panels have small indents in them. These can be seen here : http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae354/PerfectPorsche/100_0744.jpg and barely noticable here: http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae354/PerfectPorsche/100_0727.jpg . The indents do not go all the way through the panels nor have they poked through or have torn the leather. The small indents are located on both sides of the car as if someone rested something there at some point. The top of the fabric panel that covers the roll protection has a scuff in it. It looks like something rubbed there at some point. It can be seen here: http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae354/PerfectPorsche/100_0743.jpg There are also some minor paint blemishes: http://s987.photobucket.com/albums/ae354/PerfectPorsche/?action=view¤t=100_0741.jpg&newest=1 (Small scratch in bumper), http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae354/PerfectPorsche/100_0747.jpg (small scuff in drivers door.. might be able to be buffed out?), and http://i987.photobucket.com/albums/ae354/PerfectPorsche/100_0749.jpg (small scratch above fender well). My dad is an ex-fire chief. He truly takes pride in ownership and this car is a reflection of that. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer 1999 Cabriolet. He does not drive his cars hard or race them. He has even kept this car covered with a car cover, even while it is in the garage. The only reason he is selling this car is due to the brand new 911 C4S parked next to this one. If you wish to "Buy-it-Now" please make and offer and I will set up a Buy-it-Now through eBay. This car is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to sell this car and end the auction prior to its close. I am willing to deliver this vehicle in Southern California for a very reasonable fee. Please make arrangements prior to the auction close if you choose to have me do this. $500 is due within 24 hours of auction close unless alternate arrangements have been made Good luck with you bid! There is no reserve price set on this auction! On Aug-22-10 at 06:45:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Please feel free to call Robert at 760-774-3274 with any questions that you might have pertaining to the Porsche or to schedule an appointment to view the car in person.
