You are viewing a 1984 Dodge D-150 Prospector Shortbed, Fleetside, Regular Cab Pickup. This truck is originally from Florida and is a very solid, rust-free truck. It runs and drives good and is powered by a 318 V8 (I believe...may be a 360) with a 3-speed automatic transmission and nice alloy wheels. It has air-conditioning, but it does not work. The interior is in pretty nice shape and the seat looks great. It is far from perfect, but is extremely solid and does not show any signs of rot or rust. Paint is original White over Red two-tone and it is in okay condition, not perfect but looks decent. It's super clean underneath as well and has, obviously, not been driven in salt or winter weather. This would be a great truck to restore, or just drive as it is. It's hard to find a rust-free old truck, especially one that runs and drives and can be used as is. The mileage on the title says that it's exceeded so that is how I am selling it, although when it was purchased, the guy told me that the miles were actual...the odometer reads 87,865. I am going with mileage over though, as that is what the title says. It may be correct, but if so, the DMV has marked it miles exceeded due to the age...again, it is being sold as miles over to be on the safe side. It's a neat, rare truck that would make a really cool hot rod for someone. It has a 9 1/4 Chrysler Heavy-Duty rear end in it with what feel like 3.21 or 3.55 gears...and it is a Sure Grip Limited Slip differential. Not perfect by any means, but a good solid truck. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, THESE ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE IN THIS CONDITION AT NO RESERVE. As with all of our auctions, this is a no reserve sale. This 1984 Dodge Pickup will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, please complete all inspections BEFORE bidding...if you win the auction, you own the vehicle. Because of increasing expenses in every regard, we have been forced to raise our fees by $40, this is the first time in ten years that we have done this, so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $125 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale, these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for, unless you reside in the state of Ohio, in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax, based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18.50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently. I can store the vehicle for up to 90 days, until pick up can be arranged, as long as it's paid for in full.
