MY BEAUTIFUL " PINK & WHITE" BEASTY CJ-5 IS UP FOR SALE!!!! I will list as much as I can remember lol I replaced alot! When I saw this jeep it was black rusted out but had brand new 37' tires and new rims and the engine and transmission runs perfect!!!!! Starts right up! The guy I bought it from was making it into a rock crawler so he put in ARB airlockers front and back and reversed the shackles etc no sway bar ... My goal was to make something cute and beasty at the same time as i didnt want anyone making fun of the pink jeep getting stuck!!!! LOL. Well let me tell you i took it out a few times only cause i hate the clean up cause i am OCD and like things perfect. But I never got stuck! Went through the wabash river with the jeep club and was waitning on the other side as everyone else was either stuck or getting stuck trying to pull people out! lol Ok so enough history I will get with the details I just wanted to let you know this jeep is amazing! 1976 cj5 304 3 speed manual 4:11 gear ratio ARB air lockers front and back reverse shackles new gas tank new rear shocks custom rear shackles dana 30 front amc 20 rear new rear lighting new front and rear bumpers new custom sport seats front new back seat bestop all new seatbelts new hood latches new antenna brand new just got it on mothers day..... TRAIN HORNS! (3) very loud! 5 gallon air tank just for train horns custom switch on dash for the horns so you can turn them off completely as if they are not even hooked up! had a new floor welded in new custom carpet installed grey had all new sides put on no bondo..... no rust etc.... back sides are rounded like its one piece Custom professional paint pink and white done by cyberts auto body in altamont il. black bikini top - no hard top grey jeep cover brand new never used! its always been garage kept heavy duty one i ordered for this jeep. new rear view mirror 2 new side mirrors now for the rest......crushes custom soundworks out of effingham illinois totally customed this jeep out!!! They had it for over 8 months and put many hours into it and did a amazing job! They put in a amazing Focal sound system in , interior and exterior lighting, custom console that holds the headpiece to the system and lighting switches, custom speakers , subs, sub box and amp mounting , installed a huge alternator and big battery , re did all the wiring in the jeep and installed a panel for the air lockers on the dash .... the amps have a internal cooling system so they dont over heat! all the amps glo pink and are sealed in plexiglass so water and mud stay out, the back middle amp glows pink like a third brake light everytime you use the brakes it glows pink! soooo much more..... this jeep wasnt being built for shows but when i was done people suggested i do a show so i did and I have won in every show and took best of show the last two shows i was in this year already. the last show i won money! ok the details now... 2 focal tweeters installed on the driver side and passenger windshield white fiberglass custom panel that is installed under dash to hide wires and has 3 glo lights installed driver side and passenger side has all vinyl sides that houses the speakers also under the white fiberglass panel there are 2 focal speakers that are installed and in the center of the panel. driver side has 3 focal speakers installed bottom side panel passenger side has 3 focal speakers installed bottom side panel driver and passenger sides have cross overs installed middle console is vinyl wrapped and has a crushes logo that lights up white above the shifter and connects to 2 cup holders and a middle cell holder that attached to the middle console. confusing i know you will have to see the pics.. middle console holds the pioneer head unit that plays from your ipod or anykind of music off of a usb source also has radio but i used it for my usb flash drive mostly. its angled and fits to the palm of your hand so no guessing where the radio is or leaning over etc.... middle console also has a special switch to turn on the interior and exterior lighting (pink) middle console also has two outlets to charge or plug in cells etc.... middle console also lights up red at night so you can see inside. middle console has two rear cup holders also and the material the console is made of is like concrete lol its a special blend crushes uses im not sure of its contents but its suppper heavy duty! the back seat is anchored and bolted to the sub box and can lift up so you can see the subs... its cool. the sub box is rhino lined and the subs are installed and viewable with the seat up. there is a vinyl header that is installed on th front of the sub box to protect it from stuff. the back seating has 4 focal speakers that surround the back passengers its the best seat in the house lol you have 2 facing the front of them and 2 facing the side of them all mounted in the concrete stuff and its all like a wave rounded mounting see pics.... also where the back passengers would rest their arms is where the 3 focal amps are located under plexiglass that light up pink. one amp on back driver side one amp on back passenger side and one amp on the back middle piece. This jeep won in lakeland college big als audio competition this past may. It brought home 3 trophies ... one for best spl one for best sql and one for best installation! That same show on the car side it won best in its class and took home a 6 foot best of show trophy! There is nothing wrong with this jeep it drives amazing although who ever buys it needs to keep in mind this was in the process of being built to be a rock climber so its very low geared and not something you wanna take down the interstate lol you could put it in first and slowly let off the clutch and it will crawl on its own. you could even start out in second if you wanted. As far as the underneath goes the one thing i didnt get to do was the exhaust. It needs to be redone i think anyway. Its fine for now its got dual exhaust but very rusted out and one of them is not connected. Its got about 4-6 inch lift on it too. locking gas cap its got tinkerbell decals on it. lol I wanted something unique so as i am small i decided to go with it. they can peel off. although the back of the jeep is clear coated over so it would have to be repainted etc. i have the title in hand and she is ready to go. all im doing is putting her in shows....
