This classic German road car is a two-owner California car (non smoker and absolutely no rust) that looks and drives like it was new. It has been garage kept and maintained properly. Recently, the sunroof was repaired and a new headliner was installed. The rubber/stainless trim on the body behind the rear doors were replaced because the rubber was cracked. The original sticker price of $68,410 included $2100 for premium sound (including multi-CD player in trunk) , $1200 for Comfort Seats, $900 for Park Distance Control and $740 for electrical rear sunshade. Standard features include five-speed electronic transmission (rebuilt one year ago for $4500) electronic central locking including keyless entry, privacy screens on both rear doors, rear footrests - a rare option. There was a small oil leak from the heads at 97000 miles. When the heads removed - although unnecessary - a complete valve job performed. Books and records are available. For a car of this size and comfort, it still averages 18 miles per gallon in combined driving and over 26 when taken on trips.
