VERY SOLID 1957 FORD F100 WITH SHORTBED WELCOME TO ANOTHER "NO RESERVE" AUCTION !! Here is a perfect candidate for a worthwhile restoration or father/son project. This Ford should be considered just a solid project truck as it does run but is obviously not a daily driver!! This auction also has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. I do have a few bidder requirements at the bottom of the page, please read them and the entire listing BEFORE placing your bid. Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! This F100 has been in our indoor storage since 1987. Except for the engine and trans it is still in it's original condition but is unrestored and does have it's needs, please consider this when placing your bid. Cosmetically, this F100 body is really straight, it is a easy 7-8 on a scale of 1-10. The only actual body work needed are simple fixes- small dings on the driver fender/door and passenger fender (see pics). The rest of the body is nice! Upon inspection you will see that there is only minimal rust on the passenger cab corner and driver door corner, this is common on these trucks. I see one spot of rust on the passenger floor, also a simple fix (see pics). The bed floor is solid with only sandable surface rust. The grill will need to be straightened and rechromed. Tail lights need replaced. I have the front and back glass out of the truck, but it will be packaged and come with the truck. Gas tank was removed for cleaning and will also come with the truck. I also have a 2nd truck here for parts if anybody is just looking for a parts truck. The interior will obviously need redone, bench seat is not bolted in. Mechanically, the engine and auto transmission are supposed to have come from a 1969 Mustang if I remember correctly what I was told. We got the truck as you see it and it does run but needs a radiator to actually drive. I have in hand the clean and clear California title on this F100. I have placed the vehicle on non-op status with DMV, so no back fees are due. Original black plates will be left on the truck.
