Vehicle Detail

Ok ok, I know its PINK but stay with me here........ This car came west from Indiana in 1999. The prior owner had a extensive motor work done and had it painted. It was apparently not driven much, and was intended to be more of a hobby-car, or occasional cruiser. This owner owed his brother some cash and to settle that debt, he gave his brother in California the car. That man is the one who we got it from, and since 1999 we have had it. It has since spent most of that time in the garage, but the occasional parade or wedding has added a couple hundred miles to it, since its stay in California. At this time we are researching more records and trying to verify the miles as actual, but if you look closely at the knobs, seats, pedals, and "feel" of the car, you would be pretty sure it has only 16K miles. Not sure if this car is an SS or an LS, the VIN # does not tell us. My thinking is that it is an LS, just going by the interior and fact that it does not have an anti-sway bar on the rear end. The motor....not sure if it is a 350 or stroked 350 (383) but it is well built. The pictures show this motor has the angle-plug "double-hump Corvette type heads. Cam is moderate, and the car will idle, but at 800+ rpm. It has a Holley dual-feed sitting on a Wieand medium-rise manifold. Feels and runs like an injected motor, though it is carbeurated. ***Please NOTE*** It has NO SMOG equipment on it, so will NOT pass inspection here in California. No catalytics, AIR pump, etc. The prior owner stated the motor was dyno'd at 425 horsepower, and have no problem believing it. We are in our 50's and been around cars 35 years. This one is strong, and does nothing wrong. Starts right up, no smoke and NO leaks. TIGHT. AS is the transmission, it shifts flawlessley at 1500-1600 rpm, like glass. Power steering. This thing drives, steers, goes and stops like new. (only much FASTER). The interior is really REALLY nice, and needs nothing. The paint..........well........unless you are Shirley Muldowneys kids, or work in the Susan G Kohman Breast Cancer Foundation, or Mary Kay Cosmetics you will have to spend a few bucks to paint it your color. These M.Carlo's look very sharp in Black or Burgundy, and you do have the right color interior to go with those two colors. You are buying a near perfect rust free body!! It does have a scuff on the left rear bumper tip, and a couple of blems on the paint on passengers door, but minor. Overall, the body as far as we can see has never been hit, and the frame looks perfect as well underneath. Call us for questions, or offers on this one. Prefer cash, not trades. Thanks for your interest and bids. It needs a new home, and we need to sell it. Randy 559- 269-7087 John 801-403-2399 Office 559-638-3633
