You are viewing a 1980 Mazda RX-7 first generation classic car. It is red with black interior and has the original 1.1 rotary engine with only 84,000 miles. I have owned the car since June with the intentions of either restoring the car or racing it. But I have run out of money and time. The car has many new parts which include: exhaust, alternator, tires, points, fuel filter, and carburetor. The car has AC (needs charged) and a 5 speed transmission. The cars paint looks good for its age (has some chips and fading – nothing major) and does not have any surface rust, but if you want to show the car it will definitely need to be repainted. The car’s interior is average for its age, with the biggest issues being the seats (they will need to be recovered if you want to make the car a show car). The car is garage kept and the previous owner stated that his family stored the car in their garage for over 30 years. The negatives about the car are it has some fading and chips in the paint. The seats have cracks in them and will need to be recovered. Mechanically the car starts up and runs great. The cars carburetor will need to be adjusted, for it idles high. To my knowledge I have listed everything that I know is wrong with the vehicle. Remember the car is 30 years old and I have not tagged the car since I have owned it.
