Vehicle Detail
My wife and I bought a new car and are therefore trying to sell the Blazer. It has a few issues that we haven't had the money for to fix so are starting the bid at a lower price. It runs great other than a couple of mechanical issues, but most issues are cosmetic. All 4 wheel drive options and the 2 wheel high work perfect. All material in vehicle is in good condition (no tears/rips) other than on the driver's side door which has some burnt marks (in pictures, no discoloration of material, and came like that when I bought it). Per KellyBlueBook this goes for $4820. Issues with the Blazer: 1) Power brake booster needs to be replaced (I was quoted $100 for the part + labor to fix it). The braking is slow and stiff due to a cracked diaphragm inside it. This was a normal wear and tear failure. 2) Gas gauge always reads empty (issue was present when I purchased the vehicle) 3) Transmission doesn't switch to 2nd unless the gas peddle is let off for a second (Per the garage I went to it's a $35 part that needs to be replaced. They said there are 4 parts per gear and that's what needs to be replaced. It would just be a matter of having a shop test and find out which one needs to be fixed.) The transmission has no other issues besides the timing of switching into 2nd gear. 4) Cosmetic issues (scratches, rear view mirror got knocked off but is still in vehicle, driver's side rear seat doesn't fold down due to the attaching wires on the latch came off into the seat, etc - additional damage shown in pics) The broken plastic pieces on the truck are due to sliding on the ice and hitting a fence (only damage caused by the accident). Also, there is a collision with a parked vehicle post on the title of the car, but no damage was actually caused to this vehicle during that. For someone who knows how to work on cars well, the mechanical parts to fix this are only about $200. Anything else that may be wrong with the vehicle I have no knowledge of and am therefore taking no responsibility for anything else that may be wrong with it. If you have any other questions about the vehicle or would like to see additional pictures, please message me and I will reply ASAP. (From KBB) Fair $4,820 * Some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition. * Clean title history, the paint, body and/or interior need work performed by a professional. * Tires may need to be replaced. * There may be some repairable rust damage. Mileage: 116,138 Engine: V6 4.3 Liter Transmission: Automatic Drivetrain: 4WD --------Equipped with------ Air Conditioning Roof Rack Power Steering Dual Front Air Bags Privacy Glass ABS (4-Wheel) ZR2 Suspension Tilt Wheel Navigation System (TomTom GPS we bought and are keeping in the vehicle) Power Windows Cruise Control Power Seat (Driver's side) Power Door Locks MP3 (Single CD) Oversize Wheels 20"+ (They are recently purchased 32", all-season tires on stock rims.) K&N Custom Air Filter/intake Custom Exhaust (Makes a nice rumble when it's running.) Gray Interior The CD player in the car is a Sony GT530UI with USB and aux inputs, and a cable for Ipods. (Any extra wires/distribution blocks shown in the pictures are from the sound system that was hooked up and taken out prior to taking pictures. Power wire, ground wire, and aux wires from deck are already ran from vehicle to have subwoofers and amps hooked up.) I will be moving at the beginning of October so whoever wins the bid will need to ensure pickup before October. I had a lot of fun with this vehicle since I got it, but gotta pay the bills. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for looking. Happy bidding!
