Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for bid is my ‘73 Formula. It has the original matching numbers 400ci engine and turbo 400 trans. P.S P.B, A/C , not working but all there. This car is all stock and original and has not been hacked on. It even has the AM / FM 8 track player still in it (radio working but not the 8 track). I bought this car three years ago from a guy at work whose brother purchased it back in 1975. The car was parked in 1999 until I bought it 2007. The car has 122k miles on it. It runs, drives, and shifts well. It has a slight pull to the right due to three tires that are twenty five years old and one new one on the front right. The interior is in good condition except for the carpet. The driver’s seat has an eight inch tear the rest are fine. Head liner and dash are good. The console compartment has a tear, and the cardboard piece behind the seat is deteriorated. The dome light is hanging down and needs replaced. The body is gold, original paint with a tan vinyl top which I removed. Only one small dent in the pass side door and a couple small ones one the rear valance under the bumper. The car does have some rust at the bottom of the windshield on both sides, the bottom of the rear window on the inside, the piece between the rear window, and the deck lid. And on the driver’s side next to the rear window about in the middle there is a small hole. The doors have some small holes from the molding trim which I removed. The deck lid has some heavy surface rust, I thought it might be easier to replace so I bought a used one. Minor surface rust in the trunk . The floors, fenders, doors, and rear quarter panels are all rust free. The front windshield has a large crack, the rest of the glass and windows are good and work fine. A few of the vent louvers on the hood are cracked but are still there. I did replace the front calipers and rotors when I first bought the car. The gauges, lights, and turn signals and everything else I can think of works. I have tried to describe this car as best I can and have made this car sound worse than it is. It is a solid un-messed with car that for the right person will make a great project. I just don’t have the time for it anymore. Serious bidders feel free to email me your number and the best time to call and I will be happy to answer any questions you have. The car is sold “as is” and buyer is to arrange for shipping, if needed. U.S. buyers only. And all funding must clear before shipping. A three hundred dollar nonrefundable deposit must be made within three days of the end of the auction. And the balance is due within fourteen days. I am willing to work with responsible bidders. Thanks for looking at my car.
