PRICE REDUCED Perfect 1988 Ferrari 3.2 Mondial Convertible.Serviced this month by a certified ferrari mechanic in charleston, sc. Engine out major service 1 1/2 yrs ago (750 miles ago). Service this month , included fixing the top ( new latches), pre-purchase inspection, slow down light inspection (replaced temperature probe), all in effort to sell a perfect car, that will need nothing. Mechanic willing to talk to buyer. Showroom condition. New cd player with ipod connection. No Issues. I love the car. Have owned it for a 1.5 years. Bought it from an exotic car dealer in Charlotte, NC. Selling because not giving the car enough time. Records since 1999. People cannot believe the car is 22 years old. Windows are "Ferrari slow" in the rear and normal in front. Top in excellent condition, Garage kept. AC cold (never really used). All electronics work without issue. You will not be disappointed: Again car inspected and serviced this month by certified ferrari mechanic who will give you an unbiased opinion of the car. I WANT TO MAKE IT VERY CLEAR...THIS CAR MECHANICALLY AND PHYSICALLY PERFECT. THE SERVICE THIS MONTH WAS DONE ONLY IN AN EFFORT TO SELL A CAR IN PERFECT CONDITION AND TO MAKE SURE IT WAS PERFECT FOR ME IF I DECIDED NOT TO SELL THE CAR. I HAD A FALSE ALARM SLOW DOWN LIGHT FLICKERING. THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON I SENT THE CAR TO THE MECHANIC. I ASKED HIM TO LOOK THE WHOLE CAR OVER AND FIX ANYTHING ELSE HE FELT WAS AN ISSUE. TOP RECEIVED TWO NEW LATCHES, FUEL MIXTURE RATIOS WERE ADJUSTED, Gear box and TRANSMISSION TUNED (mechanic found nothing wrong, he just thought it would add to performance) , PREPURCHASE INSPECTION DONE. OF NOTE I HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MECHANIC, HE WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ME FROM MULTIPLE FERRARI OWNERS IN THE AREA, SO I KNOW HE WILL GIVE YOU AN UNBIASED, NO BS OPINION. 7/9/10 Got car back yesterday. DROVE IT 150 MILES HOME. Perfect. Got new top latches x 2 (almost $1000). Now water tight. New fuel accumulator and valve ($500). New temperature probe for slow down light ($500). $1300 for labor and inspection. Total was $3300. I can say the car is as good as it gets now. Again I told him to do anything the car needed. Work done at european road and racing in Charleston, SC. He will talk to you! Of note, The car fax was 100% clean when I bought the car. I have no evidence of the accident reported on the Ebay report. This car needs nothing! No issues.! All the other mondials I see on ebay will need Major service which is $5000 and that doesn't include any other incidentals. Consider this when pricing the cars. My car has had the major service and been looked over for any other issues, which have all been taken care of. Please call me with any questions.
