Vehicle Detail

For Sale 1994 Ford Ranger Truck Supercab XLT 2wd 4.0 V6 - LOTS OF PICTURES BELOW SO KEEP SCROLLING DOWN, read the whole add it will answer many questions you might have! I believe my family is the second owner of this vehicle, it was purchased with low miles just a few years after 1st owner I believe - as I understand it has been in a dry climate (Arizona) it's entire life (so no rust damage, to speak of) 1994 ford ranger, xtracab, v6 4.0 liter engine, 2 wd, truck xlt package towing package (I believe, it has the hitch and some sort of under dash devise I believe work with a trailers brakes (?) - as you can tell I've never used either) sliding rear window power locks power mirrors power windows (all work great) cold AC fairly clean inside and out little over 118500 miles. been a good reliable truck over the years. Many pictures below the description so keep scrolling down \|/ I'm going to try to lay out the good and bad points I know of, I suggest any perspective buyer inspect the vehicle themselves, I will try openly to disclose all information about the truck I know, but it is being sold AS-IS WHERE IS - so if I miss anything it is not grounds for return, refund, discount, legal actions, etc - so please come take a look, kick the tires, bring along a mechanic friend, check it out as much as you want - send a repersentive to check it out - ask me a ton of questions - etc, etc, etc. I want a happy buyer :-) Things I know about this truck: The Good: Arizona car, so no major rust, no rust through, only some minor surface rust in some places. Brand new water pump Brand New serpentine belt (unibelt) Brand new engine fan Brand new brake light switch Brand new passenger side head light (not shown in pictures - just something I found that I had forgotten about so I put it on) Brand new gas tank filler line (you'd be surprised how expensive this part is!) cold a/c am/fm cassette system sounds great to me (not sure if cassette works don't have any cassettes...) good millage for age (only <118500k) Has been a VERY reliable trouble free truck for us, for the most part - with only minor issues here and there over the many years we have owned _ I would not hesitate to own another Ranger from this time frame or reccomend them to friends and family. Interior & exterior are pretty nice Kelly blue book suggests this truck in "fine condition" is worth $3100k (I'm not lookin' to get that) No so good: Heater does not work (heater core started leaking so I bypassed it) - so currently no heat. Transmission occasional shifts at higher rpms then it should (the engine revs to a higher rpm before it will eventually shift)- does not happen all the time and has been doing this now for a few years without getting worse - it just sometimes doesn't shift when it should... I have had two friends that are more mechanically inclined then I suggest a fluid & filter change or a flush may be all it needs but I do NOT know. Needs new windshield has bad unrepairable crack (the crack is not in the drivers line of sight so I have ignored it but legally it needs to be replaced - and I have recently been stoped by a cop (who didn't ticket me but told me I need to get it fixed)) Needs at least 2 tires, might be best to get all 4 (the frint drivers side tire is wearing more on the outter edge - probaly just out of balance) Some damage to front passenger side bumper, and fender due to a minor slow speed collision (with an inanimate object -no other vehicle involved, happended a few years back) also some dings, bumps, scrapes, etc on body (it IS a 16 year old truck after all) Will not pass emissions - which has never been a problem for my family as we live and have registered it in parts of Pima County (in Arizona) where we don't need emissions tests - I have never investigated why it will not pass, the catalytic converter is still in place from what I can see. so it's a good truck, it runs strong, gets pretty good gas millage (although I have not checked the mileage for a while), is pretty light on odometer miles for age, looks pretty good inside and out. BUT it does need some work. I'm willing to work with buyer on payment details. Buyer will need to arrange shipping, or pickup of vehicle - And whatever payment method is use IT WILL HAVE TO completely clear my bank before title is signed over and vehicle can be picked up (that's my only solid terms - otherwise I will try to work with you anyway I can - I'm pretty easy to get along with - so any questions let me know!) I am also willing to barter a bit and accept a good running (preferably) name brand, street legal, scooter as part (or possibly full) payment for this vehicle - so if you have anything like that you want to get rid let me know also! Thanks for lookin!
