1957 Chevy stock car or Gasser or rat rod or street rod project car Here is your chance to get into a one of a kind project car, all the hard engineering has been done, the floors have been completely replaced with custom hand made sheet metal, the car was set up to run on the sportsman class but my goal was to build a cool old stock car that could still be raced. the motor mounts are for Chevy V-8 the rear end is the only thing that has yet to be welded into place but all the brackets are there, we were going to determine the ride height before we set that up. All the roll cage is up to current safety spec's so if you wanted to still race this you could. the interior was complete then disassembled to prime and paint, all the cover panels are done for the inside. the frame is mint with all the hard welding done by a master welder and retired race car builder, the quality is excellent and the pictures do not do it justice. it is set up to run duel master cylinder's (new in box and included) and hyd. clutch (cylinder included and is new in box) the cylinders and pedal set up is wilwood the gauge panel is wired and ready to go, the fuel cell is included as is the seat and bracket for the seat there is also allot of spare sheet metal to go with this sale and I have tried to take some pictures one spare hood, nice shape, 2 spare truck lids, one real solid, the other is solid but dented on top 3 spare front fenders, one pass and 2 drivers 3 passenger doors and one drivers door 2 rear quarters front bumper not bad, perfect for a race car one rear bumper,so-so but perfect for a Gasser,rat rod,stockcar several pairs a-arms and spindles 3 steering box's, one is set up for the car, the others are stock I have no way to ship this so you would have to arrange pick up, the spare parts alone will fill 2 pickup trucks this is not a fire sale and I do not have to sell so only serious bidders please, 57 Chevy parts are getting harder to find and this is truly a one of a kind project, if I can not get what I am asking for I will just store it for my grand kids feel free to call me with questions, 262-366-2533 Peter if you want to come and inspect the car it will only be done by appointment !
