For sale is a 1970 Jeep Commando with a clear S.C Tile. This jeep is a barn find, I found it bout 4 years ago when I got it I changed the oil+filter,transmission fluid+filter, and rebuilt carb. Jeep has all the regular rust issues of jeeps; but runs very good and does not smoke a bit!!! Transmission and 4-wheel drive works perfect but tires are badly dry rotted. Does need some brake work; it had decent brakes but when I was going to bleed them I broke the bleeder off on the left back wheel. Up until this time I had tags and Insurance on the jeep and used it around the farm. The Gas tank was rotten so I bought a new one (for $250.00 and it will be included) but never got around to putting it on so I just used a jug as you can see in the picture. The floor panels need replaced; but for the money the motor and transmission are worth at least $1000.00. For anyone wanting a commando project this would be a very good start. It would not take a whole lot of money just mainly cosmetics. By the way I do have a top that will need paint but does not leak. There are several trucking terminals with in 20 miles of my house and will be glad to tow it to the one of your choice (YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SETTING UP AND PAYING FOR SHIPPING).
