1971 Nova 396 Big Block * 4-Speed * Posi Rear End Old School Sleeper! This two owner, 1971 Nova started life as a 3 speed manual on the floor. She was purchased new in Florida and has spent its entire life here in the sunshine state. The second family owned her since 1984, see photo of title. The drive line is like new and has been driven very little since being rebuilt. The engine is a 396 Big Block pushing at least 425hp. The carburetor is a Holley 780CFM. The car has a new exhaust system. The 4 speed transmission is a close ratio and shifts very tight; the rear end is set up with a posi 4:10 gear. The interior is fair, the dash bezel is perfect; the radio area has not been cut out! All the glass is perfect. The paint is at least twenty years old. However, with twenty year old paint you know where you stand with the body. The floors and trunk pan are solid as a rock. The doors and fenders are all original and are in great shape for forty years old. The quarter panels are all original; the wheel openings have never been cut or repaired. All rubber seals have been replaced, exterior trim, door handles, and lenses, all appear to be original and in good shape. The bumpers appear to be new. The wheels are 14in factory steel with dog dish hub caps and newer tires. Overall the car is in good condition. It runs and drives very strong.
