1959 VW Karmann Ghia with matching numbers. A couple months back I purchased a foreclosed property and this was one of the many items left at the house. I've done two things to it, I replaced the engine since it was seized with a fresh rebuilt from Dutcher's Speed Shop out of Bellflower, California. There's about 115 miles on the engine now.. It's a 1600 singleport, cranks right up with Zero hesitation and purrs.. Car runs and drives great. I do not have the original motor, the motor that was pulled was a rebuilt. Second I had my mechanic check out the car.. Made sure the lights, signals, horn were working, the brakes and had new front shocks installed. Not sure when the car was painted but the silver metallic paint looks awesome ! There is a small scratch on the passenger door which could be buffed out and matched but doesnt take away from the beauty of this vintage classic ! The interior is gorgeous with deep red seats, panels and matching custom carpet . There's a white headliner that looks flawless as well. Picture yourself on the weekend cruising by the beach or just going back in time to when things were simple and relaxing and taking a drive was enjoyable... Thanks for checking out the auction....
