Vehicle Detail
(relisting due to the past offer not going through) 1977 CHEVY CORVETTE Classic!! Still a champ wherever it goes. American Muscle Car classic. Classic "Silver and Red" color combination, reminiscent of the old Mercedes convertibles. In very nice condition for this 33 year old classic. V8 power runs VERY strong with great power (peel out every time), fresh oil change and tune up and brakes were done not too long ago. No overheating or mechanical issues. Drives and handles well. Tires are good with AMERICAN RACING Alloy rims and center caps. Re-painted with it's original Silver paint and high gloss clear, looks new. Emblems were re-enameled and the tail lights, and front parking lights were re-cleared. The red interior has new upholstered seats and new center panels, carpet is original and in good shape but there are some minor holes on driver's side (see pics) Console and gauges are good and dash has NO cracks. Detachable Face JVC CD player with 2 front speakers. NO RUST on this car. Engine was power-washed and detailed, new hood insulation as well. Window and door gears/locks were all oiled and work smooth, Wheels have wheel locks on them and I have the key for it, shifter boot is new, No cracks on the dash. Headlights pop up and close level with no problems. While this Vette is awesome, for a 33 year old vehicle it does have some flaws: AC is not working, belt is off, and lever on control panel is stuck, so I don't know if it is operational or not, heater works ok; top plastic piece (by sunvisors) is cracked and missing pieces; door panels are intact but do have some "bubbles" in the vinyl (see pics); driver's sits a little low and needs a little tug to open, but not much; Rims are nice but two of them have stains on them as if a liquid of some sort was spilled on it, also driver's side front center cap is missing; there is the usual crack is the rear window plastic trim; front windshield has a chip about 1/2" wide, right in the middle; plastic backs of seats are covered in red carpet/felt material; while paint and body are excellent there are some small cracks here and there (around tail lights); usual corner of driver's door top is missing; door weatherstripping and posts are good, but the t-top ones are dried up, stiff and crumbling; looks like the front fiberglass piece was replaced at one point; right speaker grille is cracked. The rear storage compartment is NEW, the photo is of the old one. California registration is currently in "NON-OP" STATUS, so registration should be minimal. * NOTE * The smog pump on this car is missing, it could be other smog equipment is also missing, I don't know. It does have a catalytic converter. If you are from CA, please be aware of this. This is how I am selling the car. Actual mileage is 55,000. Thanks and happy bidding. No smog pump on this car and it's possible that other smog equipment might also be missing (does have a Catalytic converter). You are buying this car as is. Be aware of this if you are from CA. REMEMBER: This car is an INVESTMENT, not justa car purchase, take care of it and it will make you money in the future, don't throw your money away on a vehicle that depreciates. Invest in a classic! ********** PAYMENT TERMS ARE AS FOLLOWS: I accept: C.O.D if you are local, cashier's check, personal check (allow to clear). Sorry, No Paypal at this time for payment, only for $200 deposit . I might be able to do paypal for full payment, but please contact me first. I bought this from the second owner who had the vehicle for many years, and did other work to it like suspension and the like. The title is in the name of the previous owner , But it's signed off by them, and I have the bill of sale that goes with it. IF OUT OF STATE: Check with your local DMV (before bidding) if this is OK. If your state requires a title in the seller's name (me), then please don't bid. (unless of course you have someone here in CA to title it for you). (if you are an INTERNATIONAL BUYER, this is not a problem for you). Please consider this before bidding, it is YOUR responsibility to check. Please bid responsibly, this is a binding contract. By placing a bid or clicking on the Buy-it-now option, you are agreeing to all terms. I reserve the right to cancel bids and end the auction early. If you need more pics, please let me know which area. Buyer is responsible for the shipping and transporting of car. CHECK YOUR LOCAL YELLOW PAGES OR ONLINE FOR CAR SHIPPERS OR AUTO TRANSPORTERS FOR THEIR PRICING FROM ZIP 91606, North Hollywood, California. This car is totally drivable, but you assume full responsibility if you want to drive her a long distance. I am selling it as is. In my opinion, nothing compares to the styling and designs of yesteryear. So keep coming back to see what I might have. I try to be as honest as possible about these cars and list what I know, but I'm not a mechanic or body repair person. I have done this for years and everyone has ben happy with the cars. I HAVE 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK, mostly from cars on ebay. If you really need to call me, go ahead, but I've described it as best as I can: 818-272-1112 God bless and hope you love your Corvette purchase, and remember; this car will increase in value, so this is an investment, and as the economy gets better, more folks will be buying this classic again. **NOTE** If you have "0" Feedback, please email me first to bid, I've had too many flakes in the past. Sorry no sales to Germany.
