Vehicle Detail
Unrestored 1966 Chevrolet Nova 2 door hardtop. 6 cylinder engine with three on the tree and factory air conditioning. I bought this car from the son of the original owner in 2001 and have stored it inside every since. His father was a Warrant Officer in the Army and bought the car new in Arkansas. I moved to Colorado in 2005 and that was the last time I drove the car, but it drove straight and smooth. I wanted to build the car but have two cars I am working on for my boys and realize it will be 10 more years before i can get to it. I hope it goes to a good home because this is a very difficult car to find. I have the protecto plate, original sales documents, original owners manual and all reciepts from the time the car was new, and a New Mexico title. The reciepts verify that 58,868 is the original miles but when I titled the car in New Mexico in 2005 they would not put actual miles on the title because of the age of the car. The body is very very staight with all original body panels, one paint job many years ago and only a few rust bubbles as you can see in the pictures. The interior is original but will need to be replaced. The car has old fuel and I am sure will start and run but it will need a battery and have the fuel replaced. Shipping: I will ship the car free to the following cities, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ or Farmington, NM. If you need it shipped to other cities you will need to arrange and pay for shipping but I will do all I can to work with your shipper. This is a very straight all original car with all of the history and documentation but do not hesitate to call if you are serious and have any more questions...Mike (970) 275-5351On Aug-09-10 at 19:33:53 PDT, seller added the following information: I took pulled the trunk mat up(it was glued down) and there was some surface rust on the ridges where the mat was glued down but no holes or major problems. I also put in a new battery and drained the gas tank. It started up after a few cranks but I think the fuel pump is weak or there is a hole in the gas line because unless you keep the motor above an idle it will run out of fuel. Also I added a picture of all the documents I have.
