Here is one of the last Buick GNX to roll off the assembly line. It is car # 542 of only 547 limited editions units built. The GNX edition was an additional 10,995 over the base price of a Grand National. This car was sold new in South Carolina and is still titled in the 1st owner’s name. The car is in overall excellent condition, with only 13,542 original miles. The car is original with its number matching motor, original turbo, original exhaust, and catalytic convertor. All the sheet metal is original paint. The a/c, brakes and power antenna are working properly. It is an example of one rarest and fastest Buick built. In 1987 the Buick GNX was the fastest built American car. It even beat out the 1987 Callaway twin turbo charged Corvette. The GNX ran the quarter miles in 13.26 sec.
