MY NAME IS CHARLIE AND MY NUMBER IS 217-494-4223. Up for sale is a real nice 1968 Chevrolet shortbed step side pickup truck. These are hard to find and espacially one in as good as shape as this one. We bought it locally but it originally came out of Texas. The body is in good shape except for a couple of paint cracks and some minor rust on the outside of right door ( see pictures). The truck has been modified with a new crate 350 motor that has been totally up graded to a Edelbrock intake , carburetor, and valve covers. This engine sound really strong,it has I would guess a 3\4 race came , the engine has been modified with headers, and glass pack mufflers. Previous owner spent a lot of money on this engine. The truck could use some minor body work, the left outside door handle needs replaced, also the transmission works well , but the linkage needs to be adjusted to match the P R N D 21 on the column. all in all this is a pretty rust free truck the inside looks nice , paint looks good except for what has been described. I also included pictures of underneath the truck. There is a couple of small leaks ,oil under truck, minor , but keep in mind its 42 years old.
