This is all original 1974 FJ40 with original 19,000 miles. I bought it from a local farmer.He had lot of land and used it to check on farm and to deer hunt.Before he passed away he told me that it was original miles.I am taking his word at it.He has always stored it in a barn.When I purchased it 2 years ago, it had not been ran in 10 years.I used the tow bar to get it home, after a couple of days, I had it running.I am a landcruiser person thru and thru but had to put a weber carb on it and new header.I have the original equipment.The carb was so stopped up that it did not run right so got weber. Then ran perfect,however could not run on road because of bad clutch.The only merchanical thing right now is to replace the clutch.I have the new clutch,flywheel and etc already on ,then found a crack in bell housing.I ordered a used bell housing and will go with FJ40.I was going to finish it but bought a small farm and been staying busy cleaning this place up and redoing my home. I have fixed up a couple of FJ 40 and know this will be a winner in the end. There is no thru rust on it but some surface rust.Comes off with 200 grit sandpaper.The right fender needs replacing or a super job of repair.Never tested the winch and came with the tow bar.The seats have tears,tires are old but stay up.I did buy some goodies for it when I was thru with it. I have new hubcaps,new shifter rubbers,mirrors,roll bars, and more.The old man swore that nothing could stop it. It kills me to sell it but still have a 1988 FJ62 and 2008 Landcruiser.Folks, these things are getting harder to find with all these redo business buying them up and selling for outrageous prices.I don't do this for a living, I am in medical field. I would love to see a good old LC lover buy it.I"m sure I did not cover it all but just ask. I guess I need to tell you that no warranty and buy as is. ( to cover your rear end) It will take sweat equity and some parts but will have a FJ 40 that will stand out. Thanks
