1979 Pontiac Formula Trans Am VIN# 2U87W9N191091 The car originally is a Firebird Formula but have been transformed into a Trans Am. The engine have been replaced to a 403 and the Transmission have been replaced to a 350 Turbo. The car is not a show car but it looks great from a distance. You can restore it to make it a show car. The car RUNS and DRIVES perfect with no problems at all and NOTHING leaks at all. Clear Title on hand. The color of the exterior is RED and the paint job is NEW it is called High Performance Red Paint color and the color of the interior is gray for the front seats and Black leather for the back seats. The interior is in decent shape but could be restored easily. The original interior color is Black leather or vinyl but the front seats have been replaced but they are not conected from the bottom. All the decals have been replaced to an original decals. Car is a 6.6L that has a REBUILT 403 Engine about 10000 miles ago and a REBUILT 350 Turbo Tranny just been done few days ago with less than 200 miles on it and a 2 years warranty as well on the tranny and I have replaced all the brake lines on it and also I have replaced the fuel lines on it as well. The odometer reads 185000 but it is NOT working so the actual mileage is UNKNOWN. The can has the Shaker Hood as you can see from the pictures. The hood scoop is intact and perfect, it shows being off a little bit in the picture because it is missing a small screw. I did pushed it back to its place. My buy it now price is very low as you can see.The car looks very good and it runs really nice and strong. No leaks at all. The body is straight and solid. All Brake Lines and Fuel lines have been replaced 2 weeks ago which was in April of 2010. The car has a CD player that works fine. I can see few tiny rust on the usual places on the car, for example, the inside bottom door panel from the passenger side has rust and you can see it only when you open the passenger door from the inside. This is my DAILY DRIVER car that turns heads every time I drive it. What the car needs: 1. Windshield Wiper-transmission. (easy & cheap to fix) 2. AC unit. 3. A new brake master cylinder even though the brakes works on the car. (easy & cheap to fix) I do still drive it every day and there is no problems at all. These are the things that are rusted and need to fix or replace if you want to restore the car: Front & Rear floors, rear frame cross member, radiator support, cowl area, front frame rail mounts, kick panel. Also, the front nose piece is cracked, and patched. Seats are not attached because the seat tracks are broken and right front shock is rusted and loose. It also needs a cosmitics work like door skins, lower quarter panels and 2 new fenders. I do drive it everyday for a 4 to 5 miles trips and I have drove it last week for a 35 miles trip back and forth without any problems. The buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping.
