Beautiful black on black 1969 Cougar with convertible top. This car was equipped from the factory with: air conditioning (rare for a convertible) power steering power disc brakes on the front, drum rear original numbers matching 351 Windsorautomatic transmission power top Upgraded convertible top with glass back window rather than the plastic oneThis is a 41 year old original un-restored car that can be driven daily if you so choose. The overall condition of the car is quite nice. About 4 years ago the car was repainted to freshen it up and still looks darn good. The convertible top is still very nice and should not need to be replaced for many years. Not long ago an aftermarket radio was installed and rather than alter the dash, the original radio bezel has been left off. The original in dash radio/8 track player goes with the car (it works) as well as the dash bezel so the car can be returned to original. Other than the radio, there are no alterations to this car. In addition to the Rally wheels on the car I have a complete set of Cougar hub caps that are correct for the year 1969. I have always preferred the Rally wheels myself. The upholstery still looks good but is beginning to show some wear. No holes or tears in it but you may want to freshen it up in a few years. The 351 Windsor runs perfectly and sounds as solid as the day it was made. All of the original jack equipment is still with the car. This car was purchased from the original owner in Oklahoma which is a dry climate area. Since it has been in Texas it has been kept in the garage unless it is out on a drive.
