Vehicle Detail

Please call me at 414.881.7424 with any questions and for more pictures...thank you, Rich. Low reserve... 1971 Crew Cab Sweptline W200 4x4. This truck was from Utah wildlife management, taken down to bare metal, Three small holes patched in rockers (see pictures), and also cab mounts replaced as FLAT, not dished. All body metal is RUST FREE, see pictures of truck down to metal. All filler you see is from a subtle deviation in the metal or super small patched areas (nothing more than 1/16 inch thick), no RUST WHATSOEVER on exterior, some surface rust under vehicle on frame, but NOTHING THROUGH. There is still origional paint on the frame in spots. Email me for more pics, I have plenty of all phases of this Trucks life with me. 383, automatic works well, 4:10 rear dana 60, Dana 44 front based on specs I've seen online, correct me if I'm wrong. Torque monster setup, I've been impressed. Warn hubs. Runs and drives, starts every time, runs 60-65mph comfortably if need be. New Radiator and Heater core done by All Kool in Butler, WI. Two new front 16.5 tires on 10" wide steel wheels. This truck is super BASIC, no surprises here, manual brakes, steering, windows, etc, a straight up no nonsense American machine. NOS dash with 336 on miles, 108,000 miles previously. Painted last fall, body all taken down to steel, cleaned, blocked out, wet sanded, then painted. Started on bare metal with a Mar-Hyde product in key areas as preventitive rust layer, then DuPont DP-40LF, then sprayed with WWII Lusterless Olive Drab Epoxy paint from TM9 ordinance products http://www.tm9ordnance.com/ out of PA. Check out the site, they do some killer tanks and half tracks. Bumpers media blasted, painted with DP-40LF then Satin Black Enamal. Roof painted with Stainless Steel Steel Tuff waterbase paint. Bed and foot areas painted with Herculiner roll on product, tuff as nails. New windshield and windshield gasket with locking bead, new rubber gasket with locking bead on rear window, new rubber on all four doors (window channel rubber and weatherstripping) from Clesters Rubber products. Check out their website. Saddle blanket seat covers. Please ask any and all questions, more photos to send as well. Things that need work...rear left brake wants to lock up under hard stopping. Right rear axle seal leaks. Leaks some oil in other places, nothing excessive for this year of vehicle. In other words I don't add oil every month, its fine. Needs wiper arms and blades. Tail gate I have, but is not fixed up like the rest of the truck and has small dents, however it is in matching paint for now. I can fully repair dents and everything for an additional $400 paid when it is finished. Also the front drive shaft is out to get new U-Joints in, but I'll put it back in the truck to ship it, etc. Also some electrical needs to get hooked up yet, like side marker lights. All connections there. Needs correct radiator overflow hose on it. Also needs interior ceiling inserts. Not really a lot of complex stuff. TRUCK INCLUDES EXTRA WINDSHIELD, TAILGATE mentioned above, FACTORY JACK, EXTRA SEATBELT, SPARE SPLIT RIM AND TIRE, MISC. SMALL ITEMS, AND A PARTIAL GALLON OF THE TM9 LUSTERLESS OLIVE DRAB PAINT if you ever need to match anything to the truck color, like redoing the tailgate. Reason for selling, I'm broke, and out of time. This thing killed me as far as hard work, it is a HUGE truck to finish. Never driven in the snow or the rain, so that means I hardly ever drive it, I also ride my motorcycle. This is a great straight forward truck, buy it, enjoy it, there are no surprises. Please ask any and all questions. I did the best I could to bring this old girl to a better place, so I hope there is someone out there who'll enjoy it now that it is almost done.
