1997 BMW R1100-RT with factory hard luggage and Russell touring seat. I bought this bike new at Street's Cycles in Falmouth, Maine in 1997 and put 27,000 miles on it in 4 years, then had to stop riding due to health problems. All service was done at recommended intervals by the BMW shop in Falmouth, Maine. From 2001 until 2007 I kept the bike registered and changed the oil but was able to ride it very little. In 2007 I transfered ownership to a friend in New Hampshire who registered it and had it serviced by the BMW shop in North Hampton, NH. She found that this was too much bike for her, so it as been sitting in her garage since Fall of 2007. There is a new battery, and the tires have less than 2000 miles on them, but it will need an annual service before you hit the road with it. This bike never had surging or transmission problems. The bike may be seen by appointment, and will have to be picked up by the purchaser in Nottingham, New Hampshire.
