up for auction is this nice 1997 f350. This truck has the massive 7.5L 460 big block, automatic transmission, 4x4, Ice cold A/C, power windows, locks, mirrors, Am/fm Cd Stereo, sliding rear window. This truck runs and drives great. solid truck. The motor runs great!! no knocks, pings, or smoke. Dosent burn any oil. The tranny shifts smooth as it should. The interior is clean, and still in good condition. There are some signs of a little wear and tear, but for the age of the truck its not bad at all. Im very modest in my listing, so I tend to make it sound worse than it really is. The body of the truck is in good shape, the paint still shines. There are a couple paint bubbles over the rear wheels that are very small!! Not rot!!! The metal underneath is clean and not pitted. The inner fender wells are also not rotted. There are a few scratches here and there, but most should buff out. Im just not good with a buffer. I tend to swirl paint. There is a picture of the paint bubble. The roof of the truck has a dent in it from a tree branch. Its not really visible unless you real tall, but you can see it. The picture below will show the dent. I was going to put a visor on the truck to cover it up but I never did. The front bumper has some pits in it. (small rust pits) its not horrible, but since you cant see them in the pictures I figured I let you know. The Tires are in great shape with almost 3/4 tread left, so thats a big expense you dont have to buy if you get this truck. The front gas tank has a leak, so it will need to be replaced. $109.00 At part store. The rear tank works perfect. The Rear end cover was replaced last month along with new fluid. Newer starter Brakes are all new. Pads, shoes, drums, rotors, And new brake lines. The truck cap is in good condition as well. Has sliding rear window, side windows with sliders. The Plow is a 9" fisher minute mount with new parts including a new blade. The plow is in good shape and works perfect. Overall this is a nice clean truck that looks good. Hard to find a clean truck at this age. This is also the last year for this body style!!! Any questions ask before you bid! On 10/17/02 the truck had 21,922 miles its saying that in two years someone drove the truck 87,078 miles to make it 109,000. A little hard to belive someone drove the truck over 87,000 miles in two years. It just dont make sense. Plus it was had the noted miles of 109,000. Who would someone put exactly 109,000 miles down on a registration? why not 109,656?
