I bought it at 136,000 miles in June 2005 At 136,000 miles I serviced the following with genuine Mercedes parts Changed all belts, hoses, fluids, filters. Trans serviced Brake system flushed Rear end oil changed Tires replaced with Michelin MXV4 speed rate H-the same tires as it came with from the factory. Struts replaced with Bilsteins Replaced ALL suspension bushings Replaced sunroof motor and cables. Repaired cracked dash around passenger air bag-common Had windows tinted I have always changed the oil with Rotella per Mercedes specs 6 new glow plugs fall of 2009 At 172,000 miles serviced the trans, changed oil and alignment Ice cold a/c I consistently get 28-30 mpg back and forth to work On hiway I average 33-34mpg with a high of 36.8 mpg I wouldn't hesitate to take it to California tomorrow. No drips, no funny noises. Please remember this is NOT a show car, but a very good daily driver. It does NOT smoke and was running in the pics. I owned a 1987 300D-T and this one is light-years ahead-NO smoke, rattle, cough, chugs like the old ones. The Diesel is electronically controlled. I own it free and clear. It is a clean title. Reason for selling-Getting a newer one and I don't need 2 cars. CASH or Paypal only-Serious bidders THE BADS: Left visor lights/home link don't work Crack on lower windshield The driver's front seat leather is worn The dash re-cracked on the left side of the air bag-this is VERY common The paint shows typical signs of age-scratches, chips, scrapes, dents, scuffs, dings, parking lot and stone bruises etc. The sunroof tilts up and down ok, but is slow to slide back. The drivers seat tilt button does not tilt the seat back-I use the memory to lay it back then tilt it up with the button.
