Here is a very nice Model A pickup that has been restored and updated with a more modern driveline. Restoration was completed (estimate) 7-10 years ago. It follows a blueprint for installing Pinto power to your Model A by a D.H.Feazell. This work was done by the previous owner now deceased,so some details are unknown to me. I have owned the vehicle for 5 years. The vehicle was built to be driven and some minor road scars show that. However, It is very presentable and shows very well. There is some hot rod influence in its execution.This truck starts easily and runs and drives very well. In the 5 years I have owned I only put about a thousand miles on it. I estimate the previous owner at that or less. Body: All steel late model Model A with indented firewall. Steel Fenders with one side mount Frame: Stock model A with Model A front axle with ford disc brakes. Rear is 1971 Ford 8" with 3:55 gears. Engine: Ford 1971 Pinto 1600cc Kent engine with crossflow head. Uprated holley weber 2bl carb and intake. Custom headers Trans: Ford 1971 4spd with Racer Walsh shift linkage. Wheels: Ford 16" 1935 wire wheels with Coker Classic wide white radials. Front: 550r16 Rear: 650r16. These tires are new and still have nubs on them. Electrical: 12volt 1971 Pinto harness adapted. Electric cooling fan. Interior: Tan roll and pleat vinyl on seat and door panels. Custom wood accents on dash. Custom 4 spoke wood steering wheel with wood trim. Black carpeting. Other details: Oak bed with Model T type gas tank mounted with decorative leather straps. Guide lights led mounted to front fenders for turn signals. ModelA tail lights mounted to custom brackets. Model A front bumper mounted to rear (gives a balanced look) Other considerations: If you are taller than 5'9" this may not be the vehicle for you. Cab room is limited for tall drivers. Although I have seen some modifications done to the seating to allow more room. Also, the paint on the cowl is starting to break down and chip.
