The America's built to cover ground and has a relaxed riding position, With forward set highway pegs, wide raked-back handlebars, and a low 28 inch set height aid rider comfort and control, perfect for those long days in the saddle. I am selling this for a friend who can no longer ride due to health reasons. It's a beautiful motorcycle and has been well taken care of. It does have a small scratch on the front fender, I think it can be buffed out. A mounting nut was tightened down to much on the windshield and caused a couple of small cracks, they will not affect how the windshield works and I don't think they will spread. My buddy is the second owner of this bike. He bought it on E-bay from a gentleman in New Hampshire. The Triumph Bonneville America is 790cc, air cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin. Transmission is a wet, multi-plate, 5 speed. The tires are good and ride smooth. Accessories added to this bike include: Tachometer, Triumph Windshield, Corbin seat, rear back rest/luggage rack, formotion clock,( needs battery) and LeatherLyke saddlebags. It also comes with a Triumph America service manual, 2 extra reflectors, and a cap from where the tach is now. Pick up or freight expenses are the responsibility of the purchaser. I will be glad to it take to a shipping company in Amarillo, about 60 miles from where the bike is. Everything else is up to you. If you live somewhere close I will make arrangements to meet you. Or just fly into Amarillo and ride it home, it's ready if you are. I will accept Paypal, a certified check, or cash if you are local. This bike is relisted with a buy it now. I'm also adding a full faced Z1R helmet, it's a ZRP-1 in an XXL size, color is silver. It's in very good concition with just a few very light scatches. Also adding a black leather vest that was only wore a few times. It's from Antelope Creek Leather in Borger, TX. Size is 50 which is about a large XL or a smaller XXL. It is in new condition.
