Vintage International KB-6 truck in good condition. This truck was recently purchased at an auction selling antique trucks. This particular truck was in a farmer's barn for about 50 years, and it looks it. I spoke with the Farmer at the auction and he told me that he used it from time to time and when not using it he would start it periodically. He also said that he rebuilt the engine approximately 5 years ago. The truck starts and runs great. We drove it approximately 20 miles from the auction to our home; it drove well and the lights including the turn signals worked. It has a straight 6-cylinder gas engine and a 5-speed manual transmission with an operating shiftable two-speed axle. The truck also has a PTO driven hydraulic lift with dual multi-stage cylinders. Tires on the truck have most of the tread still on them and are in what appears to be good condition. Included are extra grill pieces as shown in the picture to complete the grill trim (with a few extras). The truck has been in the very dry climate of southern Colorado and has very little rust if any. The odometer is showing 58,247 miles. I don't know if the milage is actual, but very well could be given the condition and past use of the truck. These trucks were used heavily by Budweiser, Texaco and many other companies of the era. The KB-6 was the last of the very recognizable muscle trucks with the long hoods and teardrop headlights. The Colorado title is clear and ready for transfer.
