Classic 1971 VW Super Beetle Convertible. This is the first year for the Super Beetle and this is a nice example of the two-year only model (1971-1972). This car starts, runs and drives great. It has nice, shiny chrome bumpers, shiny headlight rings and the chrome on the door handles is in good shape. The wheel wells, frame rails, fenders and rocker panels are all in great shape. The only area of rust I spotted on the whole car is a silver dollar sized circle on thee hood and a small spot on the back fender. The floors are nice and solid. Classic Volkswagens always seem to be appreciating in value and as gas prices continue to rise I suspect these smart, economical and easy to park cars will become even more valuable than they are today. Even though the car does not need it I have many new parts that come with it that I was upgrading with. New struts, steering gear box and damper, rubber, fender welt New parts installed already tires, brakes and lines, top, seat covers, carpet, cd stereo with removable cover, speakers clutch blower fan, ignition steering wheel. Could use a paint job and the car will double in value. Selling as is. The odometer says 30493 and I am not sure after that. Great strong little car. It will also come with a special vw tow bar if you pick it up by yourself.
