You are bidding on a REAL TRUCK! The 57 dodge truck is in a league of it’s own… Only one year for this body Style, masculine, and sexy. This is a rear example of a D-300 long wheelbase, original daully rear. This truck was restored a year ago and has been my daily driver. The drive train has been updated with a Dodge 360, with a 727 automatic trans. The motor is a low mileage 1973, 4-bbl, but I added a small two bbl carb for economy. When restored less than 6000 miles ago, practically everything was replaced with new parts… aluminum radiator, water pump, fuel pump, 4-bble eddlebrock intake, 2-bbl carb with custom adapter plate, distributor, complete gasket set, Aluminum valve covers, new chrome a/c compressor, belts hoses, trans filter, twin trans coolers, voltage regulator, ignition module, brake lines, fuel lines, 24 Gal fuel tank, Wiring, headlight, the list goes on and on… The truck was lifted 3” in the front with a custom adjustable panhard control arm with ¾ rod ends, steering stabilizer, front adjustable air shocks, custom power steering set up, the rear has 4.10 gears, mega springs, 1”lift, new bearings and seals, brake cyl., dual exhaust with Stainless steel pipes. The chassis was blasted and painted, the body was virtually rust free! The cab is the optioned big back window model, the hood is a power wagon hood. All the chrome is perfect, new window rubber gaskets and weather stripping. Door locks work. Side glass is green glass. The green paint looks awesome, was never blocked n buffed, but could be if you choose. The truck has custom hitches, both front and rear. A heavy duty cross member was added in the rear, under the bed, with access holes for 2” sq. insets, to accept a fifth wheel set up, a winch, or a second seat. The a/c under the dash unit is in place, compressor mounted, and I have brand new, condenser, dryer, and complete house kit, ready for install. The sound system rocks, with a touch screen, tilt up stereo system, 600 watt Amp, and quad speakers. The rear bed was extended for the long wheel base, and the under the bed structure is a sold 1-½ tubing, with finished planks… I hate squeeks! The rear fenders are new fiberglass replacements with LED tail lights, the tailgate is custom with power wagon emblems. The truck has all new wiring, with fuse panel, and plug for trailering. The steering Colum is a tilt GM out of a trans am. Sorry Mopar guys, it was a great fit… Floor shifter is a hurst, modified, but could be better… There is a new gauge cluster, tach, temp, oil, bat. The original dash panels are mint! The cab has sound deadening throughout. The tires are brand new, top of the line, heavy truck tires, cost over $1500. The six lug original wheels were sandblasted and painted. I am a 57 dodge collector, with over 20 power wagons. This truck was built by me, for my personaluse to pull my trailer n race car. My daughter needs help with her finances, so my pride n joy has to go… It would take over 30K, to replicate this truck, if you had the parts available… What does the truck need? Going to need a brake master cyl., I installed a rebuilt unit that I got on eBay, but it had been sitting and must have dried out? The a/c system has to be completed., I have the interior scheduled for re upholstering this week. Going to do it in white.
