I intended on making the it into a show and go car to take on the Hot Rod Power Tour, but have ran low on funding. The motor runs very strong and has less than 100 miles on it, but it does still need a little fine tuning with the timing and carburetor. On computer the engine is estimated at producing close to 600 hp and a little over 500 ft/lb of torque, and I would say it is pretty close to that. It has a 700R4 automatic transmission that needs some work done, it has lost reverse and is slipping in forward gears. I talked to the guy that built it and he says it could just be a pin or valve for the reverse gear is stuck, but it would need to be taken apart to find out for sure. The transmission was originally built for a closer to stock 454 BBC and worked very well behind that motor. It has a small stall converter, corvette cervo, shift kit, and was set up for the speedometer to be correct with the stock size tires and the 3.23 factory posy rearend. Before it messed up the car would break the tires loose at 45-50 mph, and it will still break them loose at 25 mph with the way the transmission is now. It has full 3" exhaust with Dynomax Bullet race mufflers and a h-pipe installed, the exhaust is turned down infront of the rear axle. The car does have a very good body with no rust but a few door dings. It was painted Plum Crazy Purple by a previous owner for his wife and I was in the process of changing to closer to the original blue color, that's why the engine compartment has new paint and the functional fiberglass cowl hood is still in sealer. The Interior is the factory indigo blue and black, and I was planning on replacing it with all new black carpet and door panels and the seats out of a fourth gen camaro. The power windows, power mirrors, and power driver side seat all still work. The power hatch doesn't work anymore but it has been adjusted so that the hatch does close tightly without any gap. The power door locks don't work at this time, but I would bet the conections in the switches just need cleaned and was going to do that when I replaced the door locks. It is a t-top car and I have two extra sets of t-tops and one extra storage bag that goes with it. I also have to go with the car: smoked tail light covers, a set of HID head lights, new front parking lights and side marker lights, the grille that is missing in the photos, a sub box for two 10" subs that fits in the back compartment, a pair of tires to put on the rear to just play around, and various other parts and pieces. All in all I have over $10,000 invested in this car ($6,000 in the motor and $1,000 in the exhaust and the other $3,000+ everywhere else). I'm trying to get less than the cost of the motor alone back out of it. It will make someone a very nice project and will save them a lot of money and hard work in the process. It can be driven short distances still but I would recomend trailering it until the transmission can be looked at. Sorry but the engine is dirty from the pollen we got this year, as can be seen in the photos. Here is a youtube video link showing that it can still be driven. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPH2YgL8vvk
