1995 Volkswagon Cabrio convertible. Excellent car for the price. Very dependable and fun to drive. Engine and transmission run and drive great. I have been out of the states for 2 years teaching and when I came back I purchased the car in New Jersey and drove it home to Hartsville, SC. I purchased the car to commute between Florida and South Carolina but am leaving the states again. Since I have owned it I have made 3 trips to Myrtle Beach from Hartsville and it always runs perfect. It is ready to be picked up and drive it home. I purchased the car from a mechanic who has a business in Clinton New Jersey, and he changed the oil, topped of the air conditioning which works great, and changed the back tires. For some reason the battery in the car was not the right one so I just put in a brand new one from Walmart yesterday, (july 26). All the lights work: high low/blinkers/brakes/hazards/ etc. So mechanically the car is in great condition, but being a 95 the paint is not the best, it has a rip on one area of the convertible top that I just cover with duct tape, and the normal little dings and scratches on the body that come from age and use. The biggest problem with the car is the drivers side window does not work, so I pull it up and down manually as needed, i.e. when it rains or when its too hot so I use the AC. The back window on the drivers side works sometimes, and sometimes does not. The interior is in decent shape, about what you would expect from wear and tear. The car is not perfect, but I would say its a GREAT car for the money.
