Vehicle Detail

Selling with NO RESERVE. PLEASE only bid if you have the money ready. This is a 1968 Ford Torino GT 2+2 Fastback. Built in Kansas City on May 18th 1968 and sold in Dallas this is a clean southern Torino Fastback. It has a built 351 V8 with dual exhaust and an Automatic transmission with a factory 9' rear end. The transmission has a B&M shift kit with ratchet shifter, very fun to drive. Motor runs without any knocking or smoking and it is very powerful. The steering and suspension are tight, transmission shifts great, brakes work, all around a great car for being 42 years old. The paint is aggressive looking and smooth, this Torino GT is sharp as the pics show. It was painted in a charcoal gray and black two tone, with a cowl hood that is flat and semi flat with black stripes. The charcoal paint is clean overall (expensive paint) and there is no bubbling anywhere that I can see and very little bodywork ever. The body is super straight and solid and the metal lips edges and jams are very clean. Nice hood, trunk, doors and roof. Very straight metal up and down the sides and on the top, really everywhere. Rockers, frame, Torque Boxes, and floors are clean and solid. Only a couple small patches anywhere on the whole car that I can see and they are on the front floor and not big, far from other metal (not close to torque boxes, rockers, or frame). The rest of the floors are thick good metal it looks like the few small spots were cut out and didn't need to be. Underside otherwise is very clean and even without surface rust on much of it. This Torino GT left the factory back in 68 painted Candy Apple Red. Perfect dashboard and original gauges work. Newer white letter tires on black wheels. These are hard to find in the fastback and the book is near $20k. I am selling it with NO RESERVE... I have the original rear bumper (custom bumper on it now) and brackets as well as the wheel well trim and emblems. I have taken so many pics to show the condition the best I can, please take the time to look. Windows roll up and down but driver window needs to be reset into the track properly (its loose). Please make sure the funds are available before bidding. I can assist with shipping nearly anywhere in the world, email me with your location for a quote. Clear title in hand. Email me with any questions and I'll respond quickly. Located in mid Michigan, 48895.
