This is a very nice ORIGINAL condition car! It looks and drives very good. The only things that are not original is the top (green) color which was repainted approx. 15 years ago and I had N.O.S. material used to re-upholster the front seat. You can see by the pictures that the back & front seats are exactly the same. The back seat looks like it was never sat on. (Front seat approx. 4 yrs. old). This is a nice running and driving car. The power steering is smooth and easy, brakes and lights work as required. One side of signal lights need help to return to neutral. The V8 engine runs excellently and quietly. The transmission shifts smooth and at speeds set at factory specs. All glass is good. Hand cranks are smooth including tail gate glass. Tires are adequate. The things I planned on doing were: a complete repaint of car, including engine compartment; and the accelerator pedal needs new hinge on floor (still operable). What more can I say....this is an original, untouched automobile. With this car you can drive with pride or spend a few dollars and have a real "American Classic Beauty" for generations to come. At 45 years old she's looking fine! So, why sell it??? I'm 73 and not in good health. I need to liquidate all my toys...no complaints. I have bought and loved 300+ cars --- all models & styles. Needless to say I'm a car guy. I now have 7 cars. By year end I plan on being down to 3 family daily drivers. Back to the Rambler, I have owned it for 5 years. It had 56,504 miles on it. It now has 57,270 miles. It has always been registered in California and covered by J.C. Taylor Ins. I hope the new owner will appreciate it and possibly restore it to its original beauty.
