I bought this car 3 months ago but I have no money to finish it. I have all the paper work on it and it has been restored 75%. The car has 106,000 miles on it and has been parked for 38 years. It runs and drives. I am in the process of getting the brakes in order right now. The gas tank needs to be acid dipped then you could drive this car. I have loads of extra stuff the previous owner was going to restore the car but just stock piled parts for it for 38 years and never did much else. It has flat black primer on the top and a BMW silver on the bottom. The jams of the body have been painted and cleared. It has air bags in the rear and a cantilever set up I built as well. I cut the front springs by 2 coils and it now sits 5in in front and 3 in the rear off the ground. This car has to be seen to be believed. I have been working on cars for years and I have yet to see one like this. It is a rare find to say the least in this condition. I got it running the first day I had it (No smoke or trouble). On Jul-07-10 at 16:54:44 PDT, seller added the following information:This car has only small areas of rust in the floor boards that was crudely fixed in the 70's and 2 small rust areas in the rear on the left and right side of the trunk.On Jul-07-10 at 20:21:37 PDT, seller added the following information:I bought and replaced all 6 wheel cylinders on the car, and I have all new rubber connection lines as well. I have put on the rear pads and the drums and had all drums turned and glass beaded, but still need to put the front wheel cylinders on and then bleed the brakes after I put on the rubber lines. I should have some more pictures of this car up on here later this week. I have a new 12 volt Coil, 12 volt ignition coil, 12 volt battery, and a 12 volt 4lb. fuel pump. As I said in the rest of this add, this car runs and it runs nice. No smoke, no knocks, no dripping oil, and when it runs you only here the fan. The motor is so quiet if you we're in it you wouldn't even know it was on.On Jul-13-10 at 13:10:36 PDT, seller added the following information:I want everyone to know that if you buy the car for the (by now price) that I will finish the car so that it could be run and driven to you're home by you. Also if you wish I can finish the paint work, though you will be looking at an extra $2,000 for that. Regardless it will run and drive just wont be all silver and black nor silver and red. If you just bid you will have to finish it you're self.
