Buyer is rsponsible for shipping. Here is a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Fastback factory 429 Thunderjet. Check the VIN#. The engine and tranny was removed and a 460 was put in place before I bought the car. I will be selling the car without the engine and transmission but if you wish to work out a deal I will leave them in the car for $1500 all together. The engine will be minus the intake manifold if you wish to purchase it all. This car is factory a/c with everything there still. Interior is original vinyl leather and is in brand new condition! The brakes were completely done by myself and my wife, Power brake booster, master cylinder, calipers and pads, wheel cylinders and shoes. Engine has new starter, battery, solonoid, and ignition switch. There is only a small amount of rust under the front lip of the hood, trunk pan and a small amount on the quarter panels. The engine starts and runs very very well and smooth. I bottle fed it from a gas can as I didn't want to run old gas through but the fuel pump and carb are working like a charm and the engine starts on the first crank every time! The title can be obtained I just don't have the ambition any longer as I just aquired an F250 with the same motor to work up. The car is an amazing deal, I am not trying to stick it to anyone with this deal. This car is an easy finish or perfect completion car for any project. The car has an 80% higher value because the car was a factory 429 thunderjet car with factory a/c. It can be restored to original condition with matching numbers and be worth a very large amount of money. The value of classic cars depends greatly on the original options for restoration purposes. I can try to get in touch with a gentleman that had an "of-the-year" complete engine.
