ALL OUR AUCTIONS ARE NO RESERVE!! THIS '71 BUICK SKYLARK CUSTOM WOULD MAKE A REALLY NICE ORIGINAL MUSCLE CAR RESTORATION. This Skylark should be considered a step above just a project car as it is a complete numbers matching car but does have its cosmetic and mechanical needs. This auction also has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. I do have a few bidder requirements at the bottom of the page, please read them and the entire listing BEFORE placing your bid. Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! This Buick was put into storage back in 1981, it appears that the engine has now froze with time, please consider this when placing your bid! Cosmetically, this Skylark body is original and untouched, there are 2 repairable dents, on the drivers fender and 1/4 panel (see pics). As far as rust goes, besides the obvious surface-sandable "sun" rust on the hood, roof and trunk lid, all I see is a repairable spot on the passenger fender heel and the 2 spots in the trunk (see pics). The floors and undercarriage look very solid. Front windshield needs replaced. Rear bumper has a few dings and needs to be straightend/rechromed. Both tail lens need replaced and the trunk catch latch is missing. Wheels are in excellent condition. The factory original interior is complete, the optional front split bench and rear seat need recovered, springs and cushion are still good. Headliner also needs replaced. Dash and dash pad look good and all factory options are intact. This is also a factory original A/C and P/S car!! Mechanically, the numbers matching 350 engine is complete but seems to be locked up or seized due to it's time in storage. We have put Marvel Oil down the cylinders and let it sit but it still will not turn over at all, so this Buick is sold as "NON-RUNNING" There are spots of sandable surface rust on the brake booster, air cleaner lid and various areas of the engine compartment, nothing that won't clean up. Battery tray will need replaced. I have in hand the clean and clear California title on this Skylark. It is on a non-op with California DMV so no back fees are due. The car is located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base. I encourage personal inspections and am available Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm for personal viewing.
