I've had this bike in storage for 6 or 7 years, telling myself "Someday, I'll do a restoration." I can't kid myself anymore. I've just dug it out of a corner of the garage, put a charger on the battery, and it started on about 4 kicks. If you're into ratty bikes, you can ride it like it is. It is a very good candidate for restoration. there is some superficial rust, as you would expect, but no holes or see-through parts. The mileage above is meaningless. the speedometer works, but who knows how far it has gone in nearly 50 years. When I was riding it regularly, I was getting 60 MPG.
