Vehicle Detail
I listed this car previously stating that it leaked out of the head gasket. This was a mistake as I believe it leaks out of the valve gasket (much less serious). I have revised my previous add to say valve gasket instead. As shown this is a 1987 Honda Civic Si hatchback. I have owned this car for seven years. I have replaced a few parts over the past few years (listed below). The car has always been very reliable for me and gets great gas mileage. I have always changed its oil regularly. I purchased it from its original owners who were friends of mine. The car only has two mechanical problems that I know of. First, it leaks oil and second the heat does not work. I believe the oil leak is from the valve gasket but I am not a mechanic so I could not be 100%, however the leak is not excessive. I am unsure what is wrong with the heat. But like I said the car runs and starts very smoothly with no noticeable problems while driving. As far as the body is concerned I can give all the history of its damage because I was in it. The (blue) fender I actually replaced it initially only to have a family member misjudge the distance of a pole while driving it. The rear damage is from when my car was hit by a meter cop. The car was inspected afterward and no major damage was found. I have had also had concerns of rust underneath the car however I have check carefully and no part of the undercarriage is rusted or weak. New Parts: Muffler Passenger CV Axel Rear Breaks Rear Struts Rear tires are quite new The battery was bad so I replaced it with a newer Interstate battery from one of my other cars. Just changed oil and filter If I think of more I will add them. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I know quite a bit about cars (especially Hondas) so complex questions are also welcome. Thanks for looking :)
