1959 FORD THUNDERBIRD You are looking at a #3 condition 1959 Ford Thunderbird that has been in the same family for 38 years. I got her from the son of the second owner who had the car for 30 years. She is a solid car with 108k original miles and about 1000 miles on the rebuilt and original 352 Thunderbird Special motor with 300HP. The trans did not need a rebuild. CAR RUNS VERY SMOOTH AND VERY EXCELLENT! This Bird will take any anywhere. The interior is original and looks very good. Not much wear and was just totally detailed. The leather has held up well and is still nice and supple. The dash is is in very good condition and the headiner is in good shape. The paint was redone about 7 years ago and was not as high end job but as the pictures suggest it is a nice driver job. The paint looks good. There is a little over spray in the wheel wells but a rattle can full of black will fix that in a jiffy. The body is very straight with no exerior rust issues. The rockers, floors and trunk are very solid. The original trunk liner is there but not like it was when it was new....Time is so mean.
