You are looking at a nice '99 Jetta. I purchased this car in a "Package Deal". I usually buy cars in a package of 6 to 10 at a time. I've decided to sell a couple on line as the alternative (auction). This gives the general public a chance to pick up a deal now and then. The Good:.... This car runs and drives fine. Sunroof works as it should. Mileage is great! 137K...Paint is nice. Air blows cold. Interior is real nice. Tires are good. The Bad:...."Check Engine" light is on. NOW READ THIS CAREFULLY When we cleared the codes....the car runs great, when the light comes back on (about 10 miles), The transmission shifts from drive to neutral when sitting still. It shifts fine...but, when it's in Drive, sitting still, it changes into neutral until you give it a little gas. Then it goes back in drive and works as it should. The code is a transmission code...the shop said it sounds like a sensor? Could be something simple? You can drive the car anywhere and it works great, just when you're sitting still. Clear the codes & it works fine? The only other things are: small dent in one fender, rust spot on trunk, broken glov box latch. (see pics). We don't work on cars but to change oil & brakes. So...this could be a simple fix for someone who does. This is a "No Reserve" auction like all my auctions, so bid to own. PLEASE come look or ask your wife first, these auctions cost money & you need to come pay when the auction is finished. Look at my feedback, I try to describe my auctions as best as I can, no surprises. We are located right off the Pa turnpike at exit 201 Blue Mtn.
