I am selling my 1991 Mercury Capri XR2 after 7 years of ownership. The car is a bright yellow convertible, front wheel drive with manual transmission. The engine is a 1.6L turbo. I had the car professionally painted by a dealership (corvette yellow). The vehicle has Enkel Racing rims with brand new tires put on a little over 500 miles ago. The car runs and drives great, provided your able to drive manuals. Has the original owners manual and parts catalogue. The body is in near-flawless condition, with a very minuscule ding on the front bumper. AC WORKS GREAT, ICE COLD. The passenger's glove-box handle is broken off, but it can still be used to open the compartment and the passenger's window is sluggish- still works. The vehicle does NOT leak any fluids. New parts: Radiator, two cv shafts, all brake pads and rotors, four new Firestone tires, shift nob, thermostat, head gasket, hose clamps, water pump, timing belt, throttle position sensor, valve cover gasket, spark plugs, fuel filter, pcv valve, bearings, inner seals, outer seals, two front- half shafts, all four shocks and struts, EGR valve, distributor, alternator, muffler, Battery. Sidenote: Work was un-necessarily done last winter to perfect the car for driving. The total costs add up to approximately $3600, I have receipts on hand.
