Up for auction is my 1998 Lincoln Town Car stretch limousine. It is a 180" stretch and seats 15 passengers seat belted. I bought this car in 2007 and it had 86,000 miles on it then. It now only has 93,000 miles on it so clearly didn't get used very much. I used it frequently until the recession hit and I got promoted at work. It has sat at my house for the last six months to a year and I have finally given up on using it here. There are issues with the car and they are listed as clearly and honestly as I can: * The car does have rust on it on both sides of the limo conversion. (check pictures) * The bar has a break in it. Doesn't affect it's usefullness and is hard to see at night * The vinyl roof has a tear in it right behind the passenger front door (check pictures) * The karaoke machine and one of the tv's doesn't work * The bars could stand to be removed and have new sheet metal put up and reattached * There is rust on the inside behind the bar area. * Moldings and interior trim pieces could stand to be touched up and attached better * The passenger rear rim is different than the other stock wheels ( correct rim included!) * The rear windows go up very slowly and sometimes need help going up * The air conditioning needs a recharge * The rear intercom has a buzz when it's turned on * One of the 2 batteries is weak and needs to be replaced * The interior needs to be cleaned and carpets need to be steam cleaned * The interior smells moldy because it's been sitting for a while * One rear door needs new hinges, it sags when you open it. * The vinyl roof is not perfect, it does have tiny tears ( not too noticeable) The car does have all new brake lines and brake pads. The tires have only 6000 miles on them. Exhaust is good. The car rides and drives well. Transmission is smooth shifting. All electrical works, including lights, blinkers, radios etc. I bought this car and paid $22,500 for it in 2007. I am taking a huge hit but really need to sell it. I am moving into the city and have no where to store it. This car will sell regardless. I do have it listed locally and on "Craig's list" as well. Please remember that if this car was perfect, I'd be asking alot more than $6000. This is priced to sell NOW!!! With a little bit of body work and mechanical know how, this will make a great money maker for someone. A 15 passenger limousine is a nice novelty car and it shows pretty well especially at night.
