Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Overview For sale is my 2007 flat black 4.0L V6 Ford Mustang. I first bought her back in 2008 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and she has been my primary driver for most of the time since. The previous owner was a rental car company in Tennessee, but I know nothing about the company itself. I have taken good care of her since I have had her with frequent oil changes and never driving her hard. Never had any problems at all; the car is practically brand new at only just over 49,000 miles. I am selling this car because I, honestly, have gotten into debt and I need to pay it off. The car itself is clean, however. The car previously has a loan listed for it in the vehicle history report, as you can see above, but that was taken care of before I bought it. Aftermarket Work The first thing people notice about it is the aftermarket paint job. I got her painted flat black in late December of 2009, so it is practically brand new. People ask why I wanted such a rough look for such a new car, and I honestly just got sick of all the gloss-painted cars on the road, so I wanted to go dark but still striking. I feel that the flat black really compliments the curves of this particular bodystyle and it is very sharp. I also had the chrome Mustang grille emblem and the rear faux gas cap painted as well to increase the details of the look. I suppose the only downfall is that flat black shows the slightest bit of dirt, but even then nobody cares because of the one-of-a-kind paint job. The paint was done locally at a reputable body shop and I paid dearly for it. The paint is factory quality, not cheap primer that will fall off. I will be more than happy to include the receipt for the paint job along with the other documents when the car is sold. Apart from paint, the car has a few other aftermarket features. Visually, the windows are tinted dark black (also professionally done), a Mustang Cobra emblem is placed on the hood and on the faux gas cap on the back, and a vinyl headliner is on the upper windshield. There is also a custom exhaust system with Borla 3” piping and a Cherry Bomb Glasspack muffler for that muscle car sound and a little added power (easier exhaust flow equals more horsepower). I also have a professionally installed and tuned Steeda Racing Cold Air Intake System. Other than that, the car is stock, but the previously named additions have added some horsepower that you can feel. Full Disclosure In the interest of gaining your trust, I will be completely honest with you about everything wrong with it. Technically, there are no problems. The only problems are that the interior seat fabric is lightly stained in some places and the steering wheel is scuffed in a small area on the top of it, and it was this way when I bought it. It never bothered me at all, but I am just being honest here so that there are no surprises. If you have any questions whatsoever, please contact me prior to bidding. I sold a car on Ebay years ago (forgot my password which is why I’m under a newer account) as well as have bought cars on Ebay, and I find it to be very thorough to ask questions first. I am not a car salesman, I have nothing to hide, and I will be completely straight with you throughout the entire transaction. If you do choose to contact me, though, please have the intention of buying the car or at least the intention of thinking about it. That means that if you don’t have the money, don’t bid. If you just want to comment on the paint job, don’t contact me. I am just here for those of you who are actually interested in the car. I am best contacted by e-mail, and if you are the winning bidder I will give you my address so that we can communicate over the transaction. Payment A deposit of $500 is due in my PayPal account within 48 hours of the listing’s close. The rest is due within one week of the auctions close by Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or Cash. I will be contacting you via e-mail immediately after the action’s close to work out the details, so please give me an active e-mail account. If I receive the deposit without the full payment within one week, you have lost your $500. It is to prove that you are interested in the car, but I will not wait more than one week for the full payment to be mailed to me. Please get tracking information when you overnight the payment so that I can confirm that it is sent. If you send the deposit but do not at least give me a tracking number by the end of the seventh day, you have lost your deposit and the car will be relisted. I will not give out my banking information, so do not offer to wire the money to me. The money will be sent to me by the above terms or not at all. I will not negotiate on this, and what I am asking is pretty standard. All PayPal accounts start out at a $500 limit, so I am not expecting anything abnormal from you. Shipping Shipping is your responsibility. I will not work out the details and I will not communicate with your company of choice except to confirm that the car has be paid for and to arrange a pickup time and location. I have dealt with shipping companies before when both buying and selling cars and it is up to you work out the details, so please do this so I don’t have to hassle you. Most companies pick up cars within a week of the order, so I expect it to be picked up within two weeks of the listing’s close. I will not hold your car for an indefinite amount of time. As with the payment, please keep me updated on the shipping situation via e-mail. Please note that I will not allow this car to be shipped until FULL PAYMENT has CLEARED into my account. Work out all money to be ready before bidding, not after. This will ensure a smooth transaction for both of us. Closing In closing, good luck on the listing and thank you for looking. As I previously said, please ask any questions before bidding and they will be answered quickly. Thanks. -Ray PS: For some reason Ebay won't let sellers reply to questions for a car's listing within 12 hours of it's close, but I will still answer them. If you have any questions during that time, please send them from my profile instead of this page and I will get back to you before it has ended. Thank you.
