I purchased the T/A a couple of years before I retired. I bought it from a young man that was about to do some terrible things to it. The 79 was going to be my retirement project. Fast forward, retired, with several more cars, need to reduce them to manageable number. I have had the car running, it does not run well. Not because the motor is bad, but because the carburetor needs rebuilding, it is also missing a number if sensor connections, vacuum connection and I’m not sure what else. When I had it running it put out a lot of black smoke, no blue or white, from what I could tell. The master cylinder needs to be replaced, the driver’s side floor needs to be replaced, the trunk pan needs to be replaced, and the bulk head in front of the rear bumper needs to be replaced. T-Tops do not leak and I have the original bags for them. Surprisingly the body panels are in very good condition, surface rust, but no to and thru rust holes and several minor dents. It is missing the A/C compressor and lines. I have OEM clutch and brake pedal set up, bell housing and a new billet 10.5/11.0” flywheel and Pontiac emblem shift handle that are included. The original front seats are in bad shape and are out of the car, but I do have them. There is also a spare set of rear seat cushions. The original AM/FM/8 track radio is in the car but not installed. I have the original owner’s manual and build sheet. I do not have the orginal window sheet. Tires have plenty of tread, but they are old. Exhaust looks near new. This is a legit 10th anniversary car. And it is fairly complete. PLEASE ask questions before bidding.
