This auction is for a used 88 mercedes benz 190e. The body is in very good condition except for 2 minor holes on the running boards beneath both front doors. This is a four door sedan with interior that is in very good condition. It has power windows (3 of them need rewired), a sun/moon roof, and a cd player. This car does need work but once it gets a little tlc it will be a nice first time car or a good around town vehicle. I bought it a few months ago from a friend and had many repairs done and I just can not afford to put anymore money into it. What I had replaced recently: Struts, spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, windshield wiper, windshield wiper motor and some other minor things. What it needs done to get it to running condition. The fuel air mixture is off and causing it to start but not run under 2000 rpms. I've been told this is due to an unmetered air leak which I can not seem to locate. Once this is fixed the car is perfectly drivable. Other minor things wrong that I have noticed but have not had time to fix. The only window that will go down in the drivers door. The other windows will not and I believe this is due to a minor wiring problem. If you have any questions please feel free to ask them here or email me and I will answer promptly. On Jul-10-10 at 05:04:25 PDT, seller added the following information: Adding some things. **update 7-10-10* I have taken out the fuel pump and have ordered a new one. I will be replacing the fuel pump to see if this fixes the problem with it not getting proper fuel to the engine. Remember if you purchase this car you are buying it as is. I am not guaranteeing anything on this vehicle. Please only consider this purchase if you know what you are getting into the car is not running.
