I never thought this day would come but due to space and finances I must part with my 89 tta. I remember the first time I drove the tta and what an impression it left. I could not believe it when I had an opportunity to buy a tta in 2005. It was so clean as if I were buying it in 89 - It had only 34500 miles and it still had the original pass-key decal on drivers window. The interior is very clean with the exception of the drivers seat bolster - very minor. There are no dings or dents. It does appear that the hood has been painted - very good job - no overspray and the original vin decal - no replacement sheet metal. The radio, power antenna, hatch pull down and power mirrors work. The a/c did work and still has R12 charge. It has electrical problem - a/c clutch won't turn on. I replaced the 3 wire high pressure switch and the a/c worked for the next 3 times I used it. I have a new OEM switch that I haven't put in. The previous owner had a K&N air filter and boost controller installed. I don't know how to use the boost controller and never fooled with the adjustment. I don't have the original air cleaner nor do I have any paper work on the boost controller. I never raced or pushed the car very hard - I am just thankful that I had the opportunity to own one. This car is a very good investment and will hold its value since they no longer make Pontiacs. Remember they only made 1555 tta's in 1989. My loss is your gain. I have a compete owners box in perfect condition that will be included if the car meets the reserve - that's a $500.00-$1000.00 value by itself. The car comes with a fitted car cover, model of 89 tta, new OEM a/c switch, new OEM computer prom and all literature that I have. The car now has 36529 miles and is awaiting its new owner.
