SEE BELOW FOR PRICING WITHOUT BUY IT NOW. I am selling my 1994 Mercury Capri XR2 with 83,000 original miles and one of only 8 built with the W3 Pearl Black Paint. I acquired from a seller that had already put a great deal of love and care into. This car is truly amazing, it is extremely fast and I have to say I have never been stopped so many times to be asked what kind of car it was and that is looked amazing. I have owned Porsche, Ferrari, BMW and the like and no car has garnered so much attention. I have done a great deal of work to this car, please see the list below for a complete detail of what has been done. I just installed a freshly rebuilt Turbo by Turbo City, all belts, hoses, fluids, filters have been replaced and upgraded, the turbo upgrades are all done properly with a RocketChip ECU built by Matt at Rocketman and Exhaust allowing for the proper mix of fuel, air and exhaust. The new exhaust is upgraded from the engine to the tailpipe, not just a cat-back. It features the 2.25" downpipe, running 2.25" pipe with Hi-performance catalytic converter and muffler to a beautiful Stainless Steel Oval tip. The new Intrax Lowering Springs along with the new Monroe Sensa-trac struts work excellent along with the vented, drilled and slotted brake rotors on all four corners. New bearings inside/outside and ceramic brake pads were also installed. The 17" Gunmetal Grey Tenzo Mean6 wheels with their deep dish and the 205-40-17 tires really are the icing of this exquisite car. Inside the 16 year old leather seats which are still in great condition except for one seam on the drivers seat were all treated to a Leathereque cleaning and conditioning which brought back some of the softness as well as smell of the leather. New Capri logo carpet mats and a JVC KD-S100 Bongiovi CD Receiver with Ipod Connection, Pioneer 6.25” 4-way 280watt Front Speakers and Pioneer 5x8” 4-way 320watt Rear Speakers were added. This Systems sounds amazing and offers a USB port in front and accepts a SD card for music, it also has the optional iPod adapter kit. Since no hardtop was available for the 1994 model, the interior of this hardtop has been completely re-done in black to match the interior. The exterior paint is fading on the Hardtop only.On Jul-17-10 at 16:02:24 PDT, seller added the following information: The optional Ipod connection wasn't hooked up to the receiver and was sitting in a little box which has now disappeared. You can still use the USB port to connect and I don't believe it works with Iphone or Itouch only and Ipod. The iPod connector only worked with iPod too. I lowered the price of the BIN and Reserve $50 to compensate for no longer having.
