Up for auction is a 1986 Porsche wide body non-turbo 5 speed convertible, the car has a brand new paint job "Bordeaux Wine Red". Has no body dings, or scratches. Has a 3.2 liter non-turbo motor with lots of performance upgrades. which are as follows: Deluxe 40 MM Italian Weber Complete Carburetor Conversion  Checked all jetting and ventures for correct application  Inspected throttle linkage  Cleaned and straighten throttle linkage  Machined Manifolds matting surface to heads  Adjusted and synchronized carburetors  Adjusted throttle stops  Adjusted throttle rods  Adjusted throttle rod bell to bell crank  Raised compression by 0.5:1  Camshaft with mid range & all around Performance  5 Speed Transmission  With following upgrades  New Clutch (racing)  Installed Short Shift Shifter  Has new heat and sound padding installed  Has new floor carpet  Has new tires 17" with Turbo Twist Rims  Has new Convertible top  A/C and Heater Connected & Works Great The door handles have been shaved and gas tank door, opens with remote. Has a fiberglass wide body kit added with custom rear bumper. Car has only 64,XXX original miles, runs perfect with no issues just did a trip about 700 miles round trip and it drove like a dream. Car is ridiculously fast, no rust ever, never driven on salt or during the winter. Car has clean title but have a lien against car which bank will provide lien card for buyer with no issues, have already spoken with bank. Willing to help with delivery at a small fee or can store in heated garage for up to 1 month for free.On Jul-19-10 at 17:23:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Updated info: I just found out the the carbs on this car are the 46mm and not the 40mm ones, the 46mm are rare and hard to come by now. I also just had the cars timing redone, a compression test, and a buyers inspection gone through on the car to make sure everything is perfect. Also sorry I have no pictures of the interior at this moment, the carpet and floor padding is being installed and should be ready on the 22nd. The car only has the two front seats, the back seats are pulled out and a rear seat delete was installed. The buyer will get both the rear seat delete and the rear seats. The front seats have no rips or tears and are black leather with maroon inserts in a diagonal pattern. The dash is perfect no cracks or sun damage. The door panels are black with maroon insert as well. Car comes with after market sound system, remote alarm and door poppers. Engine carpet is clean far from factory though lots of modifications have been done to the engine compartment. For those that are not familiar with the weber set up, this is the 6 carburetors set up with flat intake manifold system. I am looking through some of my old pictures to see if I can find some of the bay for you. On Jul-21-10 at 17:39:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I took some pictures of the engine bay and interior, please take into consideration that the interior carpet is not all the way in yet, It has about 8 more pieces of carpet that needs to be installed; I just wanted to have some posted so you can see you it all looks. The engine has perfect compression and pass the leak down test with flying colors, just had the timing adjusted as well. This engine was professional built by Motor Meister out in California back in the late 90's. It was a $7,000 engine build up. If you have any questions please let me know.
